Air fryer pizza is a new player in town; please move aside frozen pizza. Pizza night will undergo a revolution thanks to perfectly crispy, simple-to-make pizzas in the air fryer. This air fry pizza cooks very quickly and is incredibly delicious! Using homemade dough is perfect; I adore this quick and straightforward dough. Since air frying cooks by circulating hot air to the food, this technique produces magical results with the pizzas. The outside becomes crisp, cooked, and browned, and the interior is equally soft and delicate but fully cooked. Just how pizza is supposed to be!

Can you air fry pizza?
Of course, you can. Here are these simple steps to follow while cooking air fryer pizza:
Step 1: Prepare the dough: Combine yeast, sugar, and warm water. Give it five minutes to sit, then add flour and salt. Allow it to rise for ten minutes after well mixing. It was straightforward and effective for me to use the dough hook on my Kitchen-Aid mixer. Also, you can buy gluten-free pizza dough if you don’t have enough time.
Step 2: Fill the basket of your air fryer with a thin layer of cornmeal. Place the pizza dough in the air fryer basket after rolling it out to a thickness of 1.4 inches. One inch from the edge, spread the pizza sauce. Afterward, top with cheese and pepperoni. Air fry for 10 to 12 minutes at 400 degrees.
Note: For a thicker or crispier crust, cook the dough in the air fryer for 3 minutes before adding the toppings.

How to make the best pizza in air fryer?
Add the cheese at last: Because the air in the air fryer circulates, you don’t want your top to fly around the inside. Keeping the toppings where they belong on the pizza and allowing the cheese to become nicely golden and keep the toppings in place.
It all depends on how you roll it out: If you prefer a pizza with a thinner crust, roll out the dough thinner and bake it for only 8 to 10 minutes. Leave the crust thicker and cook it for 3 minutes if you prefer a thicker crust.
Make pizza using precooked dough: You can still cook pizza bases in the air fryer if you use pitas, flatbread, or even bagels. You only need to heat the pizza and cook the toppings. After topping it, air fry your pizza for 4-5 minutes at the same temperature.
