You’ll be unable to stop enjoying their fantastic, juicy flavor after being tossed in the garlic-parmesan sauce. There isn’t a better way to make them; it only takes 10 minutes! You can quickly and easily cook the best mushrooms you’ve ever had using this simple air fryer technique without breading. They make a nutritious veggie side dish or snack! They are also vegetarian, low-carb, and keto-friendly.

What needs to make air fryer mushroom recipe?

Making this mushroom lover’s dream requires just a few simple ingredients! These essential ingredients work wonders to flavor the mushrooms!

Air fryer mushroom ingredients:

  • Mushroom: 1 pound mushrooms baby Bella or white button; you can replace these with your preferred mushrooms. It also works well with cremini and portobello mushrooms, although you may need to raise the cooking time by one or two minutes because they are so large.
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons aids in the ideal sizzling of your mushrooms!
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons adds a savory taste and helps the mushrooms become soft.
  • For the beautiful flavor in every bite, I added 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, one teaspoon fresh thyme, and one teaspoon garlic powder as seasonings. Avoid skipping the thyme; it provides excellent aromas and a woodsy richness that elevate the flavor of these air fryer mushrooms.
  • Chopped fresh parsley to garnish

 

 

How to prepare air fryer mushrooms?

Step 1: To remove any dirt, clean the mushrooms with a kitchen towel. Although I don’t wash the mushrooms, drain them and completely dry them with paper towels if you must, and we don’t want mushrooms that are soggy or moist.

Step 2: Halve the mushrooms. Suppose they are large cut mushrooms into quarters. The parts should be the same size. Add the mushrooms to a large bowl. Mix the mushrooms with the remaining ingredients until everything is evenly covered in soy sauce, oil, and seasonings. In the air fryer basket, arrange the mushrooms in a single layer; if you use a smaller air fryer, you will have to work in batches because I used a 6-quart air fryer for this recipe.

Step 3: Cook the mushrooms for 10 minutes at 400 degrees in the air fryer. For the mushrooms to cook evenly on all sides, give them an excellent shake and move them around. Cook until evenly browned, about 5 minutes. Watch them as they near the end to prevent burning, but remember that every air fryer fries differently. You can enjoy mushroom slices as a side dish with supper or eat them straight from the air fryer. I’ve never had such excellent mushrooms; I eat the entire batch myself.

Can I use canned mushrooms for the air fryer mushroom recipe?

Of course, you can. Add the spice and oil after draining the mushrooms. If the canned mushrooms already include salt, omit the salt. Follow the recipe as written. They won’t be as juicy as fresh mushrooms.
