How to air fry donut?

Step 1: Mix lukewarm milk, one teaspoon of sugar, and yeast in the stand mixer bowl using a dough hook. Allow it to settle for ten minutes until it foam (Please be aware that if your yeast becomes too old or your milk is too heated, the dough won’t foam)

Step 2: To the milk mixture, add 2 cups of flour, sugar, salt, egg, and melted butter. Blend on low speed until mixed, then gradually add the last cup of flour while the mixer runs until the dough stops sticking to the bowl. The dough should be elastic and smooth after 5 minutes of kneading at a medium-low pace.

Step 3: Put the dough in a bowl that has been buttered, and then wrap it in plastic. Allow doubling in a warm area. The dough is prepared when you push your finger into it, and the imprint remains. Then, punch down the dough after turning it out onto a lightly floured, then roll it out gently to a thickness of approximately 1/2 inch. With a 3-inch round cutter and just a 1-inch round cutter, remove the centers from 10 to 12 doughnuts.

Step 4: Place doughnuts and donut holes on parchment paper lightly dusted with flour and loosely wrapped with greased plastic. Allow doughnuts to rise for 30 minutes or until their volume has doubled. Turn the Air Fryer on at 350°F.

Step 5: Spray the Air Fryer tray with oil spray and carefully add the doughnuts in a single line. Donuts should be sprayed with oil and cooked for about 4 minutes at 350F until golden brown. Continue with the remaining holes and donuts.

For the glaze: Put the butter in a small pot (until it melts) while air frying the donuts. After that, blend in vanilla extract and powdered sugar. When the icing is slightly thin, please remove it from the heat and mix in one tablespoon of hot water at a time. Place aside. Use two forks to dip warm donuts and donut holes into the icing. To enable extra glaze to drip off, set it on a wire rack placed over a baking sheet with a ring. Allow it to settle for 10 minutes or until the glazing becomes hard.

Note: Ensure the milk stays the same at 115 degrees F. The yeast will be killed by hot liquid. Pour a few drops of the warmed milk onto the underside of your wrist if you don’t have an instant-read thermometer. It ought to be warm.
